Here at Pride of Texas, we take great pride in our animals and we will try to pass that pride onto you when you purchase any of them. In order to avoid any misunderstanding, it is best if you know our sale agreement right from the beginning. If for some reason you find yourself with questions regarding the purchase of any of our animals, please, feel free to contact us at any time.
Live Animals If one of our animals in the sale page is of interest to you and would like to purchase it, a $100.00 non refundable deposit per animal will be necessary. The seller and buyer will discuss the terms of sale (payment and delivery of animal) privately. If you do not sent the deposit promptly and another buyer is interested in the same goat, we will be forced to sell the goat to whomever sends the deposit first.
Reserving an unborn animal Due to a horrible experiece we had reserving unborn animals, we decided that it would only be fair to you, the buyer if we do not take monetary reserveations on any of our kids until they are born. If you are interested, we will contact you when kids are born to see if you're going to like what you want to buy. We don't want you to loose your money or be forced to buy something you don't like just because we have your deposit.
Bottle Feeding We do not bottle-feed our babies, since we feel that mama can do a better job than we can.
Health Certificate A $35.00 additional charge is required for a health certificate if you request one. Our vet charges us $35.00 wether is one goat or 20.
Please, let us know what requirement must be met to satisfy your own state.
Transportation Since we are not familiar with air freight at this moment, we recommend the buyer to arrange for transportation and send us the information. The only airport in our area that will fly the animals to you is Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. $50.00 for gasoline expense will be added to the total amount of the purchase. If we are showing at a particular show, we are willing to transport the animals at no cost to you but; full payment should be made prior the transaction.
Guarantee Pride of Texas will guarantee a healthy animal before leaving our farm.
We will guarantee fertility at all times. If for some reason the animal you purchased turns out to be infertile, we will exchange the animal for another one at the seller's discretion. Before any exchanges can be made, a statement of infertility from a Certified veterinarian will be required. This statement should verify that the animal was in fact infertile before leaving our farm.
Pride of Texas will also guarantee an animal without disqualifying fault in the show ring.
No guarantee Pride of Texas does not guarantee height. We can not predict what the size of the animal will be during mature stage.
We do not guarantee winnings in the show ring.
We can not guarantee a healthy animal after leaving our farm. This is due to the exposure of different "bugs" in someone else's farm.
We can not guarantee mammary system. There is no way to know what the mammary will look like after kidding.
